AS OF MARCH 4, 2016:
We are so proud of the great work accomplished in our community through the dedication of volunteers, sponsors, loving pet owners, fellow rescues and shelters, devoted veterinarians and mission to care for the pets of Central Florida. Over the years we have helped hundreds of animals by keeping pets in their loving homes and finding new forever families for animals in need.
Amidst all of the joys, we have also experienced a tremendous number of tough decisions, long hours, and hard work. That is why, effective March 4, we have made the difficult decision to place an indefinite hold on further sponsorships. This young organization needs time to regroup and refocus - to revisit our original mission and plan effectively for the future.
Our immediate goal is to find the perfect homes for the animals in our care. Lines of communication will still be open for those looking to adopt a forever friend.
All donations will continue to be dedicated to the animals and families we've already committed to helping; we have many long-term
treatments underway and they will continue to be funded. We have always prided ourselves on being good stewards of donated funds and
will continue to do so, even during our downtime.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding and appreciate your support as we spend the coming months with our families and friends, re-energizing for the next step in our journey. We love this foundation and will return when we are able to fulfill our mission with the passion and resources needed to do it right.
